Does anyone know where I can buy 5/16 tubing in Nova Scoita Canada.I can order it from Maple suppliers but the freight is more than the tubing.Closest supplier is 400 miles from me that I know of.It seems like every thing related to maple takes 4 or 5 weeks to get. This is my first year trying to run 350 taps on gravity, thanks to MAPLE TRADERS members knowledge for the ideas on how every thing is done, now to fine the supplies to do it.Thanks Vernon

Best for you is buying from a big producer near you, or split charge of freight

That is the problem, the closest producer is 400 miles away, the ones i called said they will not have any 5/16 tubing until January??? is there a shortage or what.I don't know of any one running pipeline in this end of the province and don't know if our spring weather is right for sap flow but will try if I can get supplies at a reasonably price.Made 2X6 evaporator, 16X20 shack and have 2600 feet main line run.Was hoping to run laterals while i have time, but might be a little rushy in January February....alls well that end well...Thanks Vernon

i looked in the Leader catalog they say they have a dealer in Nova Scotia, ph # 902-254-2580. Or maybe one of there dealers in ontario would be cheaper on freight. I think they are all listed on there web site as well.
i am lucky to be 30 minutes from there shop and pick everything up there.
I am almost certain that W H Supply mails maple product to NS. You could call them and check. They are in Sheldon Vermont and you can look them up on line. Does UPS go to your area?

Hello Vernon,
I have been a Dominion and Grimm customer for a few years now. The local dealer is Gordon Fisher. He's from Bass River. 1-902-647-2461. I've dealt with him before. Very reasonable. I may be going right past his house later today.

When I went by Gordon's house on Saturday, his truck was in the yard which leads me to believe he still lives there. He also has an ad in the latest Rural Delivery. The maple business isn't a full time thing for him so keep calling.
The Lapierre dealer is Kevin McCormick. He lives in Rodney.
