Canadian citizen in USA

Hi, i'm from Quebec and i would like to buy a land in vermont to make a sugar bush but i dont know if a canadian can be owner of land in usa:confused:..is somebody have an idea...thank you

There's no restriction in buying the land. You will end up paying a higher tax rate for the land if you are not a full-time resident. Maple sugaring qualifies as a farm activity within the current use program so you should look into putting the land into current use/farming.
