I have a Small Brothers wood fired arch but have been firing with oil for 2 years. My question is how far down from the bottom of the syrup pan should the gun be? The reason for asking is I'm retinning my arch and would like to do things better if possible. Also I'm using Carlin CRD 102 gun and it sticks in about 2 inches, is that normal on a factory oil fired unit. I would like to hear from someone with a factory oil fired 2x6 or someone who knows the specifications. Thanks
