I was looking for a good side dish the other night to go with my Pan seared slow cooked Pork Chops and Mashed Potatoes when I sliced up some fresh carrots and slow simmered them for a while. When they got soft I hit them with a little butter, garlic, salt and pepper and then about 5 tablespoons of Med amber from last April 15th! I brought it back to a slow boil and they glazed on real nice. They came out beautiful and really impressed the wife. Maybe I can get her to do some canning for me this year.... :wink: :wink:
