As I was lying in bed awake at 4am this morning I was thinking about how I could drill my mainline with my cordless drill without it wandering on the tubing.
The idea I came up with is essentially a pair of vice grips with 1/2 of a 3/4" dia (size of my tubing) pipe welded to each jaw. On the top half there would be a hole for the bit. Clamp down and drill.
Seems to me that this would work. Anyone out there have a tool like this or some other contraption that works for them? I'll only be installing up to 25 so it's not worth buying the mainline tool.
Picts would be great if you have any.
