Does any one know the evaporation rate of a Lapierre 24"x 60" evaporator. If you own one, how do you like it?
Thanks,
Joey

Which model of Lapierre do you have? Junior, Storm?

I have a 24x60 Junior with 5" rasied flues and this past year it wasn't hard to run it at 25gals/hr. If I said **** the torpedos full speed ahead I could get about another 2 gals/hr out of it.
I was told that the 24x60 junior would run at around 32-35gals/hr, but I can't say that from 1st hand.

Now if you have the storm I beleive they have 7" raised flue so they should be able to do a fair amount more.

Do you have air over fire to get the 25 gph? I have a 24X60 with 5in drop flues on order. Just getting started on the arch.

Im interested in feedback on this evaporator as well, as Im thinking about picking one up. Looks like a decent unit for the money. Also, curious if an under the grates blower would help get my GPH up. Thanks!

i have an old beckett oil burner. They have a fan in them. The one i have does about 1gph of oil. But, what i did is i blocked off the oil parts with metal. So it is just used with the fan. I am going to place it under the grates in the back of the arch.

I saw Jec's and it is a very well built evaporator!! I love the features it has about disconnecting the pans and the float box is huge!!
