View Full Version : Trader issue with windows 7?
Finally got a new office computer. When I try to log onto the trader or click a thread while not logged in I get an error message saying the trader is down and to check back later. I'm using windows 7 at home with the same version of fire fox and it works fine here. But I would rather waste time at the office.
I don't know a whole lot about computers just enough to be dangerous

I've got the same software and security as you listed , no problems . Do you have Java , you need to be cookies enabled.

posiblity of it being blocked? check your firwalls list maybe, my wife has had those issues.
Ah Java, that's probably the key. I have to run Java 5.0 for an insurance application. But I think I disabled it last week.

I run 7 at work and have no issues, but I use explorer and chrome.

I use windows 7 with AVG antivirus, no issues. Check it out, there is some little stupid thing causing the issue.
Okay this is starting to drive me nuts. I downloaded Java today. But I'm still not getting in. I can get to the main page but once I click on a thread any thread I get this.

MapleTrader.com is currently off-line. We hope to be back on-line soon.
Thanks for your patience.
Then I can get an error saying I'm in a test forum. Oddly enough I'm getting this on all 3 computers at the office. And no we don't block any sites.

Hi Dill,
While in your browser, assumin you are using IE 8 or 9, go to tools, internet options, delete button in the middle of the general tab, check everything except for the top option of "Preserve favorites website data". That is where your problems lies I beleieve. I had the same issue while they were switching over to the non-testing site.
Good luck.
