Refractory Cement Ratings

When comparing natural draft rigs against forced air rigs, should one be concerned with the temp rating of the refractory cement used to brick up the arch? The local hardware store carries cement rated for 2000 degrees. Would this be sufficient for a wood fired arch using natural draft?
