BB3 or a sp22 vacuum pump?

Just looking for some info. on which pump works better for everyone in the maple indusry?
I found a BB 3 for $200.00 (pump only)
or a sp22 has a stand and air tank for $350.00
How many taps could you put on these pumps?

honestly haven't heard of a bb3 although I guess it exsists...I have a bb2 with 270 taps give or take with ave. 23-24" vac on good days even more. and it works great heard as many as 3-350 taps, I have heard some guys with sp22 with as many as 600+ taps going strong.

I have run 23" on 950 taps with a sp-22.

I plan to run 600 taps on an sp-22 and 250 on my bb-2. I have never heard of a bb-3, If you can afford the sp-22 I would go with that one.

To my knowledge a sp11 is also called a bb3

I thought an sp11 was a bb2 and an sp22 was bb4 ???

The guy that has these for sale has one of each. From the pictures of the pumps they look different, the sp22 looks alot bigger than the bb3.\
I can try to post the pictures.
