Maple mustard

Does anyone have any expeirence in making maple mustard?

My wife got some honey mustard that seemed not too great, she added maple syrup to it just to try to salvage it. The taste was really good after she put equal parts honey mustard and maple syrup. Most honey mustard we get is good but this brand just tasted too plain like they forgot to put in enough honey, but the maple really did the trick.

So far I've just bought my favorite coarse-ground mustard and mixed in some syrup and loved it. I've been meaning to buy mustard seeds at the food co-op and experiment from scratch.
