Baked on Soot on Drop Flues

What is good to clean the baked on soot off the drop flues. Do you soak it in something like carbon remover? I use a flu brush during season, but there are some areas where it is really caked on. Appreciate any ideas.

oven cleaner and power washer take it right off easy or easy off :) mine shine like new!!!

Make sure to rinse well and let the pan dry completely before putting back on arch, water and soot make a acid that can eat the pan if left wet too long
