8 AM here at the home 20 in Harrisonburg, Va. and Mother Nature is pouring snow out of buckets. It actually did not start snowing here until early Friday evening. I had to deliver product to a couple stores early Friday in West Virginia and the snow started falling around 4 pm. In fact the Shenandoah Mountain was turning white by 4:30. The local radio station kept moving the acumulation totals up for the storm. The last I heard was 6 to 8 inches. The good news is almost all the maple trees had shed there leaves, the oaks and others had not and suspect we will have a mess in the woods when we check? The last October snow here was in the Fall of 1979.

Anywhere from 4" to 12" here outside of Albany. Depends on if you live on the hill or not.

With all the wet weather we've had it's no wonder some of it would turn to snow!

I'm ready... bring it on!!!

In seacoast NH we have forcasted heavy wet 6-12" with gusts up to 40mph. so I am guess there with will be alot of brach damage to pines!!! at least the majority of leaves are down. 29* this morning will help with that!! lots falling by themselves.

wvsugarshak,
We had alot of tree damage also, the good news none were maples, and the better news some of the big limbs from the oak trees will be burnt for syrup production!
