started tapping, why?

I started tapping yesterday in central NY. Before I got even a hundred taps in the weather went south, and we got what the north pole is supposed to have. Wind blowing 25-30 mph, wind chills near 0 and below. If the forcast holds we won't have sap flow til 3/5. I sure hope the weather turns good for maplin for a good time after that. I need a good year again.

My theroy is the weatherman is ALWAYS wrong,,,so might as well tap,,probably turn off 20's at night and 40's during the day

You might be right. Last nite the 10 day showed the first above 32 day as 3/5, today they have 3 above 32 days before 3/5 and 3/5 is still forcast as 36. I still maintain that weather forcasters are the only group that is well paid for always being wrong.
