I'm trying to build a home-made candy machine. My electric motor has a 1/2" keyed arbor. The stainless steel "worm" that I'm trying to connect to it has a 3/8" keyed shaft.
What do I need to get to connect the two, and where do I find it?
Is the connector called an "arbor adapter" or "coupling"?

Riley and MapleMat,
Thanks for the info. Yes, I think that's exactly what I need, but BOY they can be pricey! I was hoping for something in the $10 range, not $60+. If I can't find anything else, I'll have to get one of those.
Thanks again.
Actually, after poking around some more on the MC site, I found "flanged shaft couplings" that are less than 1/2 the price of the "shaft adapter coupling". And after looking at the picture, my arbor and worm shaft are NOT keyed. They are flattened on two sides. What's the term for that?

That is for set screws and dont handle as much HP as a keyed shaft.
