Just about ready to machine out a set of vanes for the Masport and I was wondering if anyone knows how come the holes are different on the back of these vanes. I am left assuming it could be for a spring of sorts, but why only one side? The ones with the long holes have some nasty cracking, hence new vanes are needed.
