Hi all. Anyone know where I can get this ceramic blanket that everyone is talking about? Also, what is a cheap source for firebrick? What is a good price for these items? TIA

You can get firebrick at any masonry supply place. Around here they carry it in both the full and half thicknesses. I dont know how much they cost because my inlaws are masons and I just go take them.

they say to use 2600 deg I think for oil, I used 2300 deg doubled up and I checked it today and it still looks like the day I put it in, got it on ebay in a roll 2ft wide by 50 ft for like 30 bucks
