You will find that there is about a 100 ways:o.............pull out with hand, Claw hammer, Spout puller, Homemade spout puller, Pliers, hit with rock on the side, wonder bar, cats claw, custom slam hammer (Snap On) and then I use a wonder bar that I ground a groove that fits over spout end and pry them out.

Curious about the "hit with a rock" technique given they are plastic spouts. :)

This previous year we used spout pullers,up until now we just used a claw hammer, but any spouts that were in tough the claw hammer would chew the back sides of the spout bringing it out of the tree.

I use a cresent wrench works great. I tried C4 but was hard on the trees.Could only tap each tree for the season and then firewood.

A claw hammer (swing press) works good on these. There isn't much to grab on to with a spout puller.

OK I have that down, I wasn't clear. Take the spout off the drop.
Thanks Brian

claw hammer works fine. it can be a little tough to get some of the high spouts (no snow to stand on) So I think I will modify a claw hammer for next year!!! thats a winter job!!!

Try a utility knife. Why do you want to remove them every year. Or smash them with a rock and shake the pieces out;) Every time you remove them you will leave a small scratch/grove in the barb fitting. Yanking and pulling on the tube will weaken the barb fitting to the tap and then they leak.

These are the clear disposable spouts that are used just once, so they say.
