Do you guys recommend cementing or dry fitting the arch ?

With a half pint it is recommended to build a deflection wall as a back wall of the firebox, to force the flue gasses up to the back part of the pan. This makes a big improvement in evaporation rate.

That part at least should be cemented with refractory so it doesn't get knocked down when firing.
