I just picked up my new RO yesterday, a 250 GPH gas powered RO made by Ray Gingerich of Orwell, Ohio. He had a huge crowd at his place yesterday for an RO seminar and live demo. followed by a maple equipment consignment auction. I also met Gary Bilek (Fellow Maple Trader from Western PA, but not far from Ray's place) there and I bought a Surge Vac pump from him too. Today I will unload the RO and start getting familiar with it. Ray had about 8 or 9 RO's that were being picked up be their owners yesterday, units from 250 GPH up to 500 GPH. Ray makes 125, 250, 375, 500 and 1000 sizes, either gas, diesel, or electric. So far I like what I see and a 250 GPH for $3200 with high and low pressure cut off's is a great price.

Thanks, it was nice to meet several Traders there.
Yes the trip home went well, except it took too long. The round trip was 13 hrs on the road, started 3:25 am and got home at 8:30 PM. If I like this RO as much as I think I will, I will be selling it next spring and buying a 500 because I will then have over 2000 taps and on my way to 3000. The 250 will not be big enough after this next season, but I had to start smaller.
When I buy my next one I will try to get Ray to deliver it, because he goes to the NYS Maple Conf. in Jan and that is only 10 minutes from my home. He could bring a 500, show it at the trade show and then I'd pick it up at the end. If he doesn't want to do that I'll drive there 1 day, get a motel for the night, then pick up the unit and return the next day.
