It's Built Closer to the house so I can get Hot Water & Electricity.
On Solid rock foundation next to creek out back.
New wood shed next to it is 8 x 24,
as soon as this part is done I'll be back in the woods installing new tanks, more taps & hopefully pumps to send everything to roadside for easy pick-up.
I.m the old guy behind the ladder. That's my partner & wife on the roof doing all the hard work.

Looking good!
What is that in your hand? Is that a boiling soda? No wait that is a drill that you are handing off to the who is working!:o:lol:
I see that you just couldn't what to get the hood in there.
I like all the windows that will be in there. There can never be to much light.
What will be in the other end, wood? or syrup storage.

More pictures will come along soon.
Dennis H - that is a drill, the Boiling sodas weren't far behind though.
it gets real hot working on that rock, sort of like black top.
The part out the back is for visitors to sit (out of my way)
I have a large family & sometimes its not uncommon to have between 10-20 people standing around.

According to NY Farm bureau, farm structures do not need a building permit. I asked my codes guy and he said that is correct. But When I built my sugarhouse he wouldn't issue a permit until I got approved by the zoning board. They made me go for a variance. At the time I was never told I did not need a permit. Now the same guy admits I did not nor do I need for my current expansion project.

I bought my 7 acers back in the 70's and put a old WPA outhouse on it and 8 years later when I was building my cabin I called for a septic system permit and the guy came out looked in all the test holes and then saw the crapper and said your asking for a upgrade permit and signed off saying that thing just saved you alot of time and money.

cvmaple it was built during the Roosevelt years to keep people busy doing WPA projects. It was a double sitter with a nice coverd area over the door. it has ship lap siding. Paid $50.00 back in 72.

I guess its us old guys that know this.
WPA--from wikpediadia
The Works Progress Administration (renamed during 1939 as the Work Projects Administration; WPA) was the largest and most ambitious New Deal agency, employing millions of unskilled workers to carry out public works projects,[1] including the construction of public buildings and roads, and operated large arts, drama, media, and literacy projects
