Has anyone out there tried Maple Guys hands free bottling system?I'm looking to purchase one.

we have had one for 4 years. works great! dont think i can bottle syrup the '' old fashion'' way again. lot faster.

I have their foot pedal activated valve, works great. I saw the new hands free, with a laser activated switch. Looks real neat but I haven't gone for one yet. I will in a year or 2 likely.

They look very impressive but can't be used for glass - only plastic.

Thanks for that tidbit! Would not have guessed that--I do all glass had me going until then.

I believe it does work for glass, but you have to drop a plastic sleeve or something over the neck of the bottle.

I exchanged emails with Chris in the spring and he confirmed that to work for glass you need a white reflector behind the bottle. He was working on a plastic ring that would slide on and off but given the many different types of glass you'd need multiple rings.

It's still on my wish list...
