I got a call to fix a sump pit alarm. Never saw one before so within a few minuets I had it figured out and fixed.........................then my mind wondered away from thinking about sex every 7.8 seconds to thinking about maple syrup every 4.6 seconds and thought how cool would Grainger part no.5CZG7 Zoeller high water/sap alarm be in my head tank $22.37 :) So I went home and snuggled up to the RD wife and had the best nights sleep thinking about Maple equipment every 4.6 seconds and see got a good nights sleep to................STFU Regen;)

Okay Haynes your onto something here. But I dont care how high the sap is in my tank I care about how low it is getting. So with that said cut that continuity switch off that alarm and go buy 2A554 and you got yourself a low level switch for your head tank. Only another 12 bucks. Grainger is next door to my warehouse might have to stop over tomarrow. Im am in constant worry when someone else watches the evaporator for a bit and this would be just one less worry. Now to rig up a big old strobe light for the deaf guy. If hes blind too then I got bigger problems on my hands.

I have a low level switch and buzzer on my head tank. Cost about $18.00. Works without fail and does allow me to multi task. When the tank hits the danger line it activates a buzzer and as soon as the sap level is restored it shuts down. I used the same set up for the over fill level but it would take to long to shut off and drove me crazy. This would do the same BUT I think I can tie into the buzzer section of the unit to activate a relay to shut down the transfer pump that is on a timer.
