I put an ad on the local craigslist to sell about a half a truckload of slabs (spruce and locust). A guy showed last night to get them and I pointed out again that they were mostly softwood just in case he was planning on burning them in the house. He told me he wasn't planning to burn them, but was going to use them as baseboard trim in his log house. I'm not sure how he's planning to cut them for that purpose, but I'd be interested in seeing the end result.
