I have a 12'x4'x30" galv. round bottom tank. The galv. coating's in pretty good shape, but there are some rust spots in the bottom. I have two questions:
Is it cost effective to replace the sheet metal w/ stainless? The local welding shop won't weld anything thinner than 16ga.
Is it OK to use as is for permeate water? I figure it's short term storage and permeate water is neutral.
