Looks like a neat way to reverse flow. They keep coming up with better ways to solve common problems. I like it.

It looks like the repsonse time for the float to open would be a long time causing problems. Maybe not the short side but when you draw off and the level has to drop in the pans plus have the flow in the stainless pipe transfer before the float open would scare me a little. But I'd probably see if someone had expierienced using them before I'd consider it

The pans for my 3' x 10' from him have that same setup.

seems like there would be considerable heat loss from that long pipe?
