Rusty buckets

I purchased a Qt. of CAMBRIDGE COATINGS EPOXY _ESTER Clear Coating from a local Bee Keeping supply house? They claim that it is for coating old galvinized bee keeping equip to meet current food grade laws.Now the price for this coating is about $10.00. Bascoms sells a Qt. of epoxy paint for @ $60.00.This is a pretty big price difference for 2 products that are supposed to do the same thing. I want to coat some rusty buckets with it.Any infoor opinions will be helpful Thanks- SS

I have about 50 buckets coated with this epoxy (bee) product. I sure didn't like the smell and was leery the first year. I did let them air well and washed them again. Some of it didn't stick very well. (I just washed the buckets and didn't sand blast them. Anyway I am still using them, and most of the material remains intact.
