mainline perpendicular to slope. Lateral lines to follow the slope

Run your laterals as steep as possible, so nearly straight up and down the slope. Run your mainlines across the slope with a pitch. If you are running wet/dry, you run that more parallel to the laterals (typically in the bottom of the sag if that is possible).

Thanks for the info when I run the Maine line should it go back and fourth or have individual ones running perpendicular with the slope connecting them to another line that runs parrel with the slope

That's correct. Laterals down hill, branch lines perpendicual to the hill, main lines down hill. The key is if possible always have you laterals running downhill.

Ok so correct me if I am wrong but I think I will put a main line in the middle of my bush so the it is running with the slope then have other lines of the same size coming off it going out to the edges and that is what I will attach my laterals to or instead of the line in the middle should it be on just one end? Another thing is how many taps can a 3/4 inch if not this year next year I will probably will put in vacuum. Also for a ways the land only drops a few feet then it drops off quite a bit will I still be ok also where is the cheapest place to buy mainline thanks
THat is interesting. I was in bed last night reading the installing mainline tubing in the NAMPM last night when I realized that since my mainline is at the bottom of my hill, every lateral will be going off the same side. anyone else have this situiation>

How many taps total in this bush?
If you are adding vacuum you will need a wet dry system up and down the hill. Figure out what size pipe you need now and put in the upper (dry) this year. Attach your mains to it. Next year you can add the wet line easy under the dry line. Otherwise you will be stringing a wire and bigger pipe over everything, what a pain in the buttocks.
