I have a reverse osmosis water purifier that was used in a house. Is it possible to make it concentrate the sap or should i throw it away?

I was reading somewhere on here that you might not get as much sap through it but I would really lik to know the answer from someone who has an answer

I believe that "Brent" can answer all your questions on that subject as he did this originally if I am correct.

Did you ever get a response about the house RO system designed for drinking water purification being used instead for sap? I'd like to hear what people may have found. My thinking is the membrane in the system designed for your house would be less than ideal, designed for ion, particle, organic rejection and not as efficient as a membrane whose pores are more specific for polysaccharide rejection. I like the ideal of retrofitting classic RO <think water> systems for sap.
