Wondering if a Bosworth Guzzler GE2601A (used to be known as the 2800) Diaphragm pump (12.9 GPM, 25 ft head) would be able to suck sap as a vacuum pump and be able to push the sap up a hill around 200 feet with around 20 feet of rise. I realize the limitations of a diaphragm pump but I think someone else on here was using this model for 750 taps. My mainlines will enter at the low spot on my property but my sugart house is 200 ft away on a hill. How would this pump compare to the 2 and 3 diaphragm models that Goodrich and Sugarbush Supplies in Mich sell?

When I got my sap puller I was told that if you try to push sap you will drop the vacuum. Better to let it drop into a tank and have a pump on a float switch do the pumping. I put my tank lower so I did not need another pump and I didn't try pushing

If thats the case then I'll probably just go with a regular rotary vane pump and releaser.
