First Saphauler Delivered 5-2-11

Momma dropped off our first miniature sap hauler on 5-2-11! We call him Elijah Dennis, the biblical equivalent of Optimus Prime. I can't wait to teach him all I've learned about making syrup. If he's anything like I was as a young boy, he won't be able to handle the wait until syrup season! I couldn't be more proud. 6lbs 15oz, 20 inch wheel base, and built for haulin'!

Welcome Elijah, maple profit and prodigious sap hauler. Our little 2 month old Abigail helped mom bring dinner down to the sugar house every night. They made a long night brighter than spring peepers on a 70 degree day.
