Touring Maple operations MI, IN, WI, OH, MO, KY

We are going to be going around to different producers and equipment sellers to see what others do so we can learn and hopefully buy equipment new or used. We have tapped trees here for 5 years or so and a neighbor has been cooking it for us. We want to cook our own and keep ALL of the syrup not just half. We have had Maple Days Tours for families and homeschool groups for 2 years now where we show how to tap a tree, etc. We really want to expand so we can show the cooking process as well.

Are there any producers out there who we can come visit this summer or in September or even in Nov or Dec. We will plan a road trip at these times to see different ones.

We also want to visit somewhere that sells equipment in Indiana, Southern MI or Southern WI or Western Ohio or KY. Any help any one can give will be GREATLY appreciated!!!
