Been going here since I was very young, even drove the tractor the 4 miles when I was 11 years old because my folks counldn't drive me. I learned the basics from these fine folks.
This was filmed April 5th, 2011
Enjoy!

When it is mentioned that this is the way they have always done it, nothings changed since the 70's, that is absolutely correct. Notice the Cholette controller still being used and it works.

Mark,
I want the CASE tractor. Yep they haven't changed in quite awhile. Are they on the trader?

That is a CASE 530. They are not on the Trader, grandpa does not have a computer. He always told me he'd never use tubing because he prides himself on making light syrup. And the bags do just that along with the 16 acre woods sloping to the north.
I know the day they filmed this they only gathered one more time after that.
Maybe that will change as the next generation takes over.....who knows?
Not that anyone cares, but if you notice you will see semis going by in the background. I-94 splits that little farm in half.
