Too late for birch tapping?

i was going to go out and tap 20 birch trees tomorrow and was wondering if it was to late to tap?

I'd say give it a go. If your maples are fininshed then it is time for birch.
Maples run 1st then birches. There can be a bit of overalp. Typically birches run when the ground thaws & the streams swell for the 1st time in the spring.
The season can last from a few days to several weeks. Every year is different. We're on a break right now as it is snowing & temps just around 0 deg C.
We need a bit of heat to get things flowing.
