D and G Evaporator?

I have a line on a good deal for a 2.5 by 8 D and G evaporator. I know they have been around forever but wondering how the quality is lately. Do the floats and plugs work well? Workmanship good? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing wrong with a D&G--they have the highest quality standards of the industry. They were welding pans before any of the other manufacturers were.

My D&G Sportsman was built in 2008. I am very pleased with the workmanship of it. The only thing I've had to replace is the o-rings on the plugs - to be expected though....

Every D&G I've seen has been excellent workmanship. How is the condition? That would be the biggest question.
