View Full Version : Sap Runs
Will trees that have never been tapped run better then trees that have been tapped year after year? I know that it wont do anything for the sugar% but was wondering about the flow. I dont think so, but I have not been doing this very long so I thought some of you might have more knowledge on this then me. Thanks,Jay

As long as the trees that have been continueously tapped have not been over tapped or damaged in any way it should be the same as a virgin tree. Remember that all trees are different and some times the trees that you think are going to run good don't and visa-versa.
About the only thing that is nice is you can close your eyes and not worry about hitting an old tap hole
