Pan thickness ???!

Is 0.063 of an inch thick enough for a drop flue and a syrup pan

Thats 16ga. in sheet steel sizing. Yes, it will work. Thats what my pans are made of. However, if you could get thinner metal, and have the ability to weld it, the thinner metal will transfer heat better.
