vac problem

We have an electric Lapierre Vac with an oil reclaimer. THis morning I came over to start it up and all went well at first, as usual, then as it was gaining vac, all of a sudden the sound changed as if it was no longer under load, and I lost all vavuum. Belt is working, spindle is spinning, but the oil is not moving through the window. Any Ideas? It has been a long season here, but we have kept up on draining the water and adding oil as needed.

We have the same pump. I'd say your oil filter is plugged or the oil lines are gummed up. For our pump we run a little diesel fuel through the pump to clear out the gunk, change the filter and you're good to go. Your local Lapierre rep should be able to provide more detailed instructions.
