I found this old family photo the other day. I'm told it's from around the 1890's in the Albany, NY area. Can you imagine how rugged those old timers must have been?!

John- Thats a great photo. I enjoy old prints of sugaring operations. It really shows how far we've come.

I showed my wife this picture just now (we just got back from collecting about 80 gall sap) her feet all mudy and back tired from pulling sled.
I sied "look how far we've com from the old days"
she sied "not very"
