The price is for tours and meals---we don't have it broken down with out meals as we have lunches delivered while out on the tours. I don't believe there would be any problem with tents, you would just need to pay for the spot for each night.

The side by side "demo" "contest" during Maplerama this year should be a ton of fun! We might give out awards :) Especially knowing there will be bragging going on!

Tenting on the fair grounds is fine. Just be sure to indicate that when registering so there can be a "space" for you!

All the major manufacturers will have displays of their equipment and be on hand to answer questions. Usually a good BS session between producers too.

It was good meeting you Andy, it is always a pleasure to put faces on fellow traders.

Yes CDL did have a 9 foot flue on their evaporator, which is what customarily comes on a 12 footer from them and they all had the option to put on whatever they desired as far as a pan configuration. That is why Leader put on a max pan that was by far the largest pan there figuring total surface area. I certainly think that the Intens-O-fire was restricted as I personally wouldn't have had as much wood in the fire box as was in it. That is the reason there was smoke and not gasifying because of the lack area for it to have turbulence enough for the process, hence not being as efficient.

We can all make excuses as to why one evaporator did well and another didn't, but on that day it was the Intens-O-Fire and Force 5 that took the day, just like racing another day could prove different. They had the same message given to each one of them and this what became history. I know if I had built an evaporator for this I would have not come to lose and I am sure every company there had that in mind.

If you look in the Leader catalog the Max pan suppose to do 45 to 50% percent more than a regular pan and it was not any faster than the others. I was surprised when they took the flue pan off, the arch looked more like just a box. There was no way to recover heat after the flue pan.
The D&G arch looked like it was the sturdiest built.
