Someday, I'm hoping to build a sugarhouse for my (future) 2x6 evaporator, RO unit, and sales area. I've been playing around with Sketchup and came up with the attached (potential) layout.
I'm trying to figure out the the following:
Best place for a sink
Should I do bottling in the store, or do it right in the evaporator room
Do I have the RO room right? Tanks outside, RO and tanks inside the RO room, concentrate tanks in the Evap. room
RO room is 6 1/2 x 8
Store is 6 1/2 x 12
Evap Room is 13 1/2 x 20
Any other suggestions would be welcome. I don't plan to build this for a couple years, at least. This sugarhouse will also be my woodworking shop in the "off season" - nine months out of the year. The RO room will become the compressor and dust collection room. The store will remain a store.
