first boil down

took what sap we had and boiled down today with sapping friend and bottler Wendy. Had three little sap suckers with. will try to post picture of or gold.

Sounds like it may be slow over your way too. We did our first boil this past Friday. Was hoping a good run today so we could start boil and collect and boil, but as soon as the temps hit 32` last nite they then went back up and killed the run for today. Has been raining all morn when it was suppose to be 1-4" snow. Forecast looks better for a midweek run. We still have 2.5 weeks left here (Moquah/Ashland Wi) before it is done.
