We still have snow in the woods. Winds are at about 10 mph + barometer 28.24 and rising, temp. at about 40 in saphouse. collected 90 gallons at 2% last night, boiled real good today. drew off about 2 gallons. we have a busy bottling day for Sunday, saved up from during the week. Up to 40 gallons so far on 224 taps on vac. Ron will let pump run a bit longer. Good thing the guys are "retired" now! Good friends during sap season are always a big help! Thanks Ken! Real happy with new evaporator, but the season has been strange.
