Found more taps yesterday so I tapped about 40 more...Soon after drilling hole the sap was running like I have never seen before.

Well that answers one of my questions. I didn't know if 1 or 2 drips per second was good. It sounds like it is.

I had one tree that was unbelievable one day and took a video as well. It was oh so close to be a steady drizzle at times. :D

I too had some taps that I moved today, literally running out of the tree. I had 1 gallon in a little over an hour. One more gallon now too! HOLY COW:o

LOL. This is a good year not to be an early bird. Glad I didn't bore my holes until march 12.
