I started drawing plans for new pans. Currently, I have a 4'x2' 4 channel stainless pan we made last year. We've done 25 gallons of syrup on it so far this year but need more power!!! I'm thinking of a 30"x5' flue pan and a 30"x3' syrup pan. My brother is a metal fabricator so we have access to brakes, welders, material you name it. Take a look at the plans and let me know if I'm on the right track! Any comments welcome.

Next year we should have 500+ taps and can even expand on that. Hopefully this setup will give us enough of an evaporation rate that we need. Anyone have a guess as to a GPH?

I think the flues on a "commercial rig" are like 7" deep x 3/4". More surface area I think is the reason for a harder boil. Just a thought, Good luck, Mike

Are you going to put in any deviders in the flue pan??
I'd at least put in one...

Yes, one down the middle.

Awesome. I will adjust that for sure. I wasn't sure on those dimensions. Thanks!
