With the weather finally on the upswing, the sap is really starting to flow, with only 40 taps and a 2x4, I knew I NEEDED more taps:D picked up 10 more at Andersons today. MAN were they swamped!

I'm starting to think that it's a good thing I don't live close to any supply stores. :D

LOL i hear you....that is untill you break a hydrometer and it takes several days to get a new one! so far I have not had to reboil. just thin some a little.

My local supply store is about 80 miles away, albeit, 1/2 way between the city house and the cabin, (where I sap) I DID pick up a spare hydrometer too!:)
