Ok so I have this crazy idea. I have an old kitchen stove in my barn that was left here when I bought the house. I was wondering your thoughts if I cut the top off where the burners are, place a pan on top and use the oven part of the stove for putting the wood in. Of course I would need to install a chimney out the back. Does this sound doable or just a nightmare? My thinking is that the built in stove door would make loading wood easy, and the stove itself is well insulated to keep the heat in. Thanks for any suggestions!

Why not , I used a barrel
I have seen, oil tanks, filing cabinets, cinder blocks etc

Only your imagination is the limit LOL

If the stove worked I'd just block the top off and put a pan on it and boil away with all 4 burners.
