Sealing Evaporator Door?

I have a Leader 2 x 4 with a blower on it. I get ash through the crack around the door. Any thoughts on how to effectively seal that up?

Is there a high temp glue that I could use to attach insulation?

I had the same problem with my Leader 2x6. I took 1/2" round fire gasket and glued it with 2000 degree refractory cement. I put it on the arch side. I've had to replace it once, because it does take a beating with the heat and constantly opening and closing the door. I might ask a local welding shop if they could make something more durable, but it's getting me through the year.
