I have a chance of picking up a GE Osmonics E4. It has 3 membranes which all need to be replaced. It can run in 200+ psi range. Does any one know about this model unit? Can I get the correct membrane for it? Lastly how much is a unit like this worth used? It is in very good shape about 5 years old.

I know nothing about the unit, but older osmonic membranes can be changed out for new membranes. To fit your vessels, you will probably need adapters with the new membranes. I'd call Joe at Atlantic and ask him about the membranes. He's a great guy to work with.
