So today at 3 oclock we started up our new 3 by 4 evaporator with 170 gallons in the tank, we were going to cook all night but we were burning of 20 gallons a hour, so we r going to collect in the morning and burn it all of

thats really a good gph! I have the same surface area(only a 2x6) and I'm getting 13-14, and thats if I fire every 5 minutes with tiny wood.

ya we fire up every hour with split dry maple and it burns realy hot, the grates are red hot

Try using coal and a big blower. I get 40 gph with a 3 by 5
