Looks like you have a real nice set-up. You are so lucky in not having any snow. The people north of you are up to their waist in it. How many taps do you have? How much syrup did you make this year? Enjoy your time sugaring and your time with your family. :)

Very nice looking sugar shack, we are just getting started here. Hoping to have a cook shack up this summer for next years maple season. I'm located in Peshtigo Wi. few min. N. of Green Bay, the Packers home town.

That's a really nice looking shack and evaporator. Your syrup looks delicious also. At what point (number of taps) did you decide that you needed a shack? Are you doing this commercially or as a hobby?

My family does this as a hobby. This year we have 37 taps and have have about 6 gallons of syrup so far. Boiling over a propane turkey fryer burner using a stainless steel steam table pan is slow going, so we're looking to make a small barrel evaporator over the summer.

Do like your web site, thanks for posting it. If that is an 18 X48 D&G pan, it would be the same as my pan. We made the arch, out of an old tank, but it works pretty good. I can boil
10 gal of sap an hour. I don't have the pony pan on top, but behind. I'll try and post a pic of it. HARD freeze last night, sap should run good today.

Good job!!! I like all the videos I need to get that done on mine and I need alot more pics it more entertaining that way!!!
